Meet Michelle Kasbach
Thoughtful healthcare starts with understanding.
I'm Michelle Kasbach, a registered Chinese Medicine Practitioner and founder of The ACU Room, providing acupuncture and Chinese Medicine to people in Buninyong, Ballarat and the surrounding communities.
I believe the best treatment begins with understanding what's contributing to your symptoms - not simply treating where it hurts.
Whether you're seeking support for pain, injury, headaches, women's health, stress or general wellbeing, my aim is to provide thoughtful, personalised care with clear communication and a treatment plan that's tailored to you.
Every person who walks through the door is different, and I consider it a privilege to be trusted with their care.
No two people are the same, which is why I don't believe in one-size-fits-all treatment.
Your first appointment is about understanding the bigger picture so we can develop the most appropriate treatment plan for you.
From there, I'll explain what I think is happening, recommend a personalised treatment plan, and discuss what you can realistically expect throughout your care.
I believe you should always understand why I'm recommending a treatment, what we're working towards, and what your next step is.
My Approach
Why Chinese Medicine?
One of the things I enjoy most about Chinese Medicine is that it encourages us to look beyond the obvious symptom.
Rather than asking only "Where does it hurt?", it asks "Why is this happening?" and "What might be contributing to it?"
That perspective allows me to develop treatment plans that are individualised, practical and responsive to the person in front of me.
Qualifications & Professional Memberships

Ongoing professional development in acupuncture, Chinese Medicine and evidence-informed practice
Continuing professional development is an important part of my practice, allowing me to provide safe, up-to-date care informed by current evidence and ongoing education.
The best results come from working together.
My role is to carefully assess your presentation, provide appropriate treatment, and guide your care as your body responds.
Your role is to let me know how you're progressing, attend appointments as recommended, and complete any agreed home care between treatments.
Together, we'll regularly review your progress and adjust your treatment plan as needed.
